: a powerful benzodiazepine drug C16H12FN3O3 with sedative and sleep-inducing properties that is not licensed for use in the U.S. but is used medically in other countries and that is a frequent illicit drug of abuse
Note: Flunitrazepam was formerly marketed in the U.S. under the trademark Rohypnol. In illicit use, a tablet of flunitrazepam is often referred to as a roofie.
